Technical Director: Off-Beat Players, Inc
Summer position – June 19th – August 3rd: $5,000

Responsibilities:

  • Work cooperatively with the Music Director, Choreographer, and Artistic Director to develop an artistic vision for the production. 
  • Communicate all scheduling needs to the Stage Manager and assist in the organization/preparation of rehearsals
  • Work collaboratively with Costume/Set/Prop Designers to design and facilitate purchase of necessary items and pieces
  • Manage and oversee set crew responsibilities and coordinate volunteer schedules with set crew volunteers.
  • Oversee the stage crew during performances alongside the Stage Manager
  • Participate in production team meetings with creatives, designers, and technicians

Stage Manager: Off-Beat Players, Inc
Summer position – June 19th – August 3rd: $1,500

Responsibilities: 

  • Work collaboratively with the Technical Director, Artistic Director, Choreographer, and Musical Director to organize rehearsals.
  • Work with the Technical Director to facilitate the director’s vision to designers and crew.
  • Record blocking and distribute rehearsal footage for cast members to review.
  • Work directly with Sound and Lighting Designers to record light, sound and set change cues.
  • Work collaboratively with Costume/Set/Prop Designers to design and facilitate purchase of necessary items and pieces.
  • Oversee the stage crew during performances alongside the Technical Director
  • Call cues during performances.
  • Work cooperatively with the Building Operations Manager to coordinate access to space and building equipment as needed.
  • Oversee summer internship positions along with designated supervisors from the Board of Directors.

Artistic Director: Off-Beat Players, Inc
Summer position – June 19th – August 3rd: $2,500

Responsibilities: 

  • Work cooperatively with the Music Director, Choreographer, and Technical Director to develop an artistic vision for the production. 
  • Organize and oversee all auditions and consult with Musical Director and Choreographer on casting.
  • Communicate all scheduling needs to the Stage Manager and assist in the organization/preparation of rehearsals.
  • Oversee all production team meetings with creatives, designers, and technicians
  • Work collaboratively with Costume/Set/Prop Designers to design and facilitate purchase of necessary items and pieces.
  • Communicate regularly with families by providing rehearsal updates and program needs.
  • Oversee summer internship positions along with designated supervisors from the Board of Directors.

Choreographer: Off-Beat Players, Inc
Summer position – June 19th – August 3rd: $2,000

Responsibilities: 

  • Work cooperatively with the Artistic Director and Music Director to develop an artistic vision for the production.
  • Consult with the Artistic Director on casting.
  • Conceptualize choreography for the production and teaches dance routines to cast.
  • Communicate all scheduling needs to the Stage Manager and assist in the organization/preparation of rehearsals.
  • Participate in production team meetings with creatives, designers, and technicians
  • Oversee summer internship positions along with designated supervisors from the Board of Directors.
